How It Works
Generators or coils press lightly against a rim or disc on the front wheel when you pull the brake lever.
Electromagnetic forces slow the wheel and simultaneously produce electricity, which flows into a small battery or capacitor.
A voltage regulator makes sure the stored energy is stable—ready for phone charging or other devices.
